Yr 10 Continuing with Bitmapped images

I will taking a year 12 induction session for the first part of your lesson today.
If you were not here yesterday make sure you are talking to someone who can show you how we drew images using EXCEL, the spreadsheet program.

Once you have created all of your images you will need to SCREENSHOT them (CMD + SHIFT + 4) and save them into a folder on your desktop.

Then follow the instructions below – DO NOT jump ahead to importing the images until you have done everything else on the list – THIS WILL SAVE YOU TIME AND EFFORT LATER.

1.Open iMovie
2. Make a new project by going to File -> New Project
3.In the window that slides down: give it a name, choose the “None” theme, and make sure that the transitions checkbox is unchecked
4.click the “Create” button
5.Go to File -> Project Properties
7.Near the bottom, there is a drop down list labeled “Initial Photo Placement”. Set this to “Fit In Frame”.
8.Click the “Okay” button
9.Open the folder that contains all of your pictures and drag them into the project editing area (by default, this area is in the top left and it says “Drag media here to create a new project”
10.After iMovie is done importing all of your images, hover your mouse over the first image in the project
11.You should see a blue icon with a little gear on it. Click on it.
12.In the small menu that pops up, select “Clip Adjustments”
13.You may want to fiddle with this later on, but, for now, set this to 0.1s
14.Make sure that the checkbox for “Apply to all stills” is checked
15.Click the “Done” button
